HOMESCHOOL FREEDOM is…
More than homeschool-friendly laws.
It is the ability to make education choices that are best for your family.
It is the freedom to disciple your children each and every day.
Having the right and sole responsibility to oversee the upbringing of our children. No notification, no schedule or curriculum requirements, no funding, no oversight, no political agenda.
Being able to nurture the gifts and abilities in my children in a healthy, safe, loving, God-honoring, and fun environment.
The right and responsibility of parents to direct the education of their child as they see fit, FREE from government funding, controls, or oversight.
Since the early 1980s, statewide homeschool organizations across the country have been actively supporting and encouraging families all year long. These mostly volunteer-run organizations watch legislation that may impact homeschool regulation, protect the freedom to homeschool, connect parents with resources, answer questions, host events to encourage and equip parents, and so much more!
State organizations can provide state-specific beginning homeschool information and point families to local educational resources. In addition, these organizations work to protect the right to homeschool in their state.
